Entry Terms and Conditions

All participants agree to the terms and conditions when signing up for the event. These terms and conditions guide the refund, transfer, withdrawal, and code of conduct policies for the event. Click on the links below for the full terms and conditions.

TRANSFERS

Busselton 50, Busselton 100, Duathlon 100 and Aquabike

INDIVIDUALS
Transferring to a new distance
OR
Individual to team
Where an athlete requests to transfer to a greater distance OR team, and space is available, the athlete is required to pay the difference in entry fees between the events. Ie, changing from Busselton 50 to Busselton 100.

Where an athlete requests to transfer to a shorter distance and space is available, the difference in entry fees will not be refunded. Ie, changing from Busselton 100 to Busselton 50.
Transferring an individual entry to another personTransfers to other people are allowed once only, up to 15 April 2026. Participants can initiate their own transfers via the Race Roster participant dashboard. After 15 April 2026, no further transfers will be permitted.

Please note: Add ons and merchandise do not transfer across to the new participant. Please contact us before transfering your entry so we can ensure any merchandise and add ons are kept track of appropriately. This can be arranged by emailing [email protected].

Transferring an entry forfeits the right to a refund for both the existing and new participant.
TEAM CHANGES
Team member changesTeam member slots can be transferred to other people as many times as needed to fill your team until 15 April 2026 via the registration platform.

After this time, online team changes may not be permitted. Please direct any enquiries to [email protected].
Team captain changesIf your team needs to change the Captain, you must email [email protected]. Changes can be made until 15 April 2026.
Race weekend team changesWe may be able to facilitate team member role changes and swaps on race weekend, subject to availability. Please contact us at [email protected] to confirm.

Late team changes and swaps may only be done in person at pack pickup on Saturday afternoon (Saturday 3 May 2025). Please ensure an existing team member (preferably the team captain) and any new team members are in attendance at the time of change.

NO TEAM CHANGES will be permitted on race day (Sunday 3 May 2026).

Please note: Any attempt to transfer entry or allow another person to participate under your name, race number, or bib after the deadline (without TWA approval and official change) may result in total cancellation without refund and insurance.  In these circumstances, TWA also reserves its right to void or refuse entry to further TWA events.

Busselton 25

Busselton 5 (Kids Triathlon)

No transfers are permitted for the Kids Triathlon. Kids race entries are not transferable to another athlete.

For any withdrawals, please utilise the Race Roster Enhanced Refund Protection (if purchased) or our refund policy as outlined in the T&C’s/below.

Please note: Any attempt to transfer entry or allow another person to participate under your name, race number, or bib may result in total cancellation without refund and insurance.  In these circumstances, TWA also reserves its right to void or refuse entry to further TWA events.

REFUNDS

If you cannot participate in the event and you did not purchase Race Roster Refund Protection, entry fee refunds are available in accordance with the below stated timelines only. These timeline conditions apply to all requests received, regardless of circumstances. After the stipulated dates, all entry fees are non-refundable.  Requests for refunds must be made in writing via email to [email protected] before the relevant deadlines.

The refund via Race Roster is automatically issued to the credit card originally used to pay for the registration. If this card has since been cancelled or has expired, please notify us when requesting the eligible refund, provide your BSB and ACC details, and we will process a direct debit. Please allow up to 14 business days for your refund to be processed.

REFUND OF ADD ONS

  • KC Australia Merchandise: Can be refunded up to the Merchandise deadline of 15 March 2026. After this date, merchandise is non-refundable. Participants should contact KC Australia directly to cancel their orders.
  • MiTime Inserts: Can be refunded up until the final refund deadline of 5 April 2026. After Sunday 5 April 2026, NO REFUNDS will be given.
  • Bossfoto Packs: Can be refunded up until the final refund deadline of 5 April 2026. After Sunday 5 April 2026, NO REFUNDS will be given.
Busselton 100 and Aquabike
