Busselton Festival of Triathlon

The Busselton Festival of Triathlon offers an exciting opportunity for brands, food vendors, and community groups to connect directly with more than 2,300 athletes and 5,000 spectators across the event weekend. Held from Friday 1 May to Sunday 3 May 2026, the BFOT Event Expo is the perfect platform to showcase your products, services, and community initiatives face-to-face with a highly engaged audience.

Triathlon WA is seeking retailers, community exhibitors, and food vendors to be part of the Expo. Flexible site options are available, putting you front and centre in the heart of the festival atmosphere.

Applications for both exhibitors and food vendors close on 28 February 2026, so if you would like to be part of the Busselton Festival of Triathlon in 2026, please complete the Expression of Interest forms linked above.

Food Vendor Information:

Food vendors are warmly invited to apply for a site in the Event Village / Expo Area, with preference given to local South West vendors, those able to trade on both days of the event (Saturday and Sunday), and those offering a diverse range of menu items, including healthy options.

All food vendors accepted to trade will be required to hold a current and valid ABN, a Food Act 2008 Registration Certificate, a Public Liability Insurance Certificate, and provide a recent inspection report (within the last six months) from the relevant local government authority. Vendors must also supply their own van, truck, trailer, marquee, or other suitable servery.

Exhibitor / Stall Information:

Exhibitors should aim to add value to competitors and spectators while reflecting the values of the sport. Vendors may provide their own marquee (must be sufficiently weighted and secured) or utilise one of the pre-built marquee options, which incurs a cost based on size. Pre-built Expo sites range from 3x3m to 6x12m. Custom dimensions or configurations may be possible.

Pre-built marquees are set spaces, and consist of an open plan frontage with rear backing and side panels plus:

  • Front signage (brand/business name)
  • Overhead strip lighting
  • Electricity (strictly no use of high-power drawing equipment such as heaters and kettles, adequate power for laptop, tills, EFT machines etc)
  • Trestle table/chairs
  • Promotion – list of retailers provided online and via race commentators at the event
  • Logo included on big screen in event village

Also available to exhibitors is the opportunity to have advertisements placed in the Athlete Guide/s or additional content on the big screen.
