The entry may ONLY be deferred to the 2025 Busselton 100. Athletes who elect to defer their entries forfeit any partial refund for the 2024 event and are not entitled to further deferral beyond the 2025 event. There are no additional entry fees associated with the deferral of the event entry.
Deferral requests MUST be received on or before 11:59pm (AWST) 31 March 2024. Please email email@example.com. If you do not receive a response to your withdrawal within 5-business days, please assume the withdrawal has not been received. It is the athletes’ responsibility to ensure the withdrawal has been received.
Once a deferral has been accepted the option to apply for an athlete withdrawal refund or transfer is no longer available. All deferrals are final. Any additional purchases in the original entry are not deferable to the following year.
Teams and Individual Entries into the event taken after 30 November 2023 are not eligible for the Deferral program, and are instead eligible the withdrawal policy as below.
At the onset of organising the Event, costs are incurred. By entering the Busselton 100 you acknowledge and accept that your Event entry fee constitutes a non-refundable investment used for the purposes of staging the Event.
If you wish to withdraw from the Event (regardless of reason), you acknowledge that such a decision has been made at your own volition. TWA does not refund registration fees where the participant decides they no longer wish to attend, or is unable to attend the Event, as a result of any change in personal circumstances including but not limited to, medical grounds.
Race entries are not transferable to another person. Any attempt to transfer entry or allow another person to participate under your name without TWA’s actual knowledge may result in total cancellation without refund and insurance. In these circumstances, TWA also reserves its right to void or refuse entry to further TWA events. For the avoidance of doubt, transferring an entry includes the act of changing all team members within a team.
We are unable to provide a full refund at any time following registration, however the following sliding scale of refund will apply:
|Before midnight AWST on 31/12/2023||Partial refund of 50% of the entry fee|
|Before midnight AWST on 31/03/2024||Partial refund of 25% of the entry fee|
|After 31 March 2024||No refunds offered|
Please email Triathlon Western Australia as formal request / confirmation of your withdrawal. Please send to firstname.lastname@example.org. Do not attach sensitive medical documents.
If you do not receive a response to your withdrawal within 5-business days, please assume the withdrawal has not been received. It is the athletes’ responsibility to ensure the withdrawal has been received.
Reimbursements for withdrawals will be processed on a fortnightly basis. This refund will be given to you in the form of a credit to the credit card used to make the original entry. Processing and or booking fees associated with the entry system and purchases of optional items/merchandise are non-refundable.
Once a refund has been processed, your withdrawal from the event is final. In this instance if you wish to re-enter, you will need to do so by registering again and paying the full entry fee.
