Busselton 100 Teams

Get your A-Team together and make a weekend of it down in Busselton! If you’re not ready to compete alone, why not create a team and split the distance between you!


Date: Sunday, 5 May 2024
Venue: Barnard Park, Busselton WA
Race Distance: 2km swim, 80km bike, and 18km run
Ages: 18 years+

– Wetsuits are usually compulsory for the swim due to the time of year and air/water temp. By registering for this event, you acknowledge that a wetsuit may be required to be worn and will have one with you on race day.
– Race packs are only to be collected at the event site in Busselton on Friday 3rd or Saturday 4th May 2024. No race pack pickup is available on race morning for Busselton 100 or Aquabike athletes. Athletes must collect their own race packs.
– Bikes must be racked on Saturday 4th May 2024, the day before your race. No late racking is permitted. Please see the event schedule and athlete guide for more info.


Teams can be made up of 2 or 3 people. In a team of 3 people: 1 person swims, 1 person bikes and 1 person runs. You each take turns so that only one person is on course at any given time. In a team of 2 people, one person does 2 legs of the race and the other person does one. If you want to do all 3 legs of the race, you’ll need to enter as an individual.

When registering your team, make sure to assign each person their role. You’ll pay for the team once ALL team members are in the system and have roles assigned.

During the race the timing chip is passed between team mates in transition (swim to bike, then bike to run), and on the last lap all team members can meet at the ‘team meeting point’ to cross the finish line together!

You’ll each get your own participant pack, wristband, race number, finisher tee, finisher medal and towel. Make sure to ask the volunteers at the finish line for your medal/towel if you don’t want to join your runner down the finish chute. See you there!

Only current Standard or Premium TA members are eligible for the Member Cost. To qualify for the Member Cost, ALL participants in the team MUST be Members of Triathlon WA / Tri Australia. Non-Member cost includes a One Day License fee to cover racing insurance.

All team participants must be at least 18 years old as of 31/12/2023 to participate in the Busselton 100.

Pricing is inventory-based according to slot quantities and will automatically increase when capacity has been filled. There will be an automatic increase to Tier 3 pricing at 11:59pm (AWST) on 21/02/2024 if this Tier is not reached prior.

Entries close Wednesday 17 April 2024. Late entries may be offered if spots are available. A late entry surcharge fee will be charged.

10/04/2024Online team change request deadline.
After registrations close, all team changes will need to be made in person at pack pickup. A $30 administration fee will be charged at the time of change.
17/04/2024Entries close at 11:59pm AWST unless sold out prior.


Changes to teams can be made online up until 10/04/2024 by the team captain within the online system, or by emailing [email protected].

Any changes needed after online entries close on 17/04/2024 will need to be made in person during registration at the Triathlon WA athlete services desk at pack pickup. This is because the data will have been exported from the system and sent to timing services.

All late changes to teams will incur a $30 administration fee which must be paid at the time of change.

In order for changes to be processed in person, an existing team member AND the new team member must be present. This just ensures the change is legitimately authorised by the team, and ensures we can collect accurate participant data for your new team member (medical requirements, emergency contact etc.)

NOTE: Teams are not eligible for deferral. If your team must withdraw, the withdrawal policy will apply.
